What was it about?
Attended by over 110 students, this online workshop introduced to the participants the benefits and choices of postgraduate studies available at and beyond HKU. Our guest speaker, Dr. Josephine Jim – Executive Director of AFS Intercultural Exchanges, offered insightful advice and practical tips to assist students in planning and preparing for the higher academic goal amidst various uncertainties. Topics included:
- Benefits of postgraduate studies
- Choices in postgraduate studies
- Types of admission tests
- Timeline and preparation
- Personal statement and interview tips
- Impact of COVID-19 on higher education
There was a Q&A session at the end of the workshop.
