The Student Information System (SIS) is an IT solution to promote the student advising experiences. SIS includes numerous convenient functions to assist advisers in viewing an advisee roster, accessing academic records of advisees, contacting advisees, and keeping important notes for future reference. It also serves as an alert system where advisee(s) with a failed course in the previous semester will be marked with a yellow alert sign a yellow alert sign for early intervention. For details of the functions, please see Steps for teacher section.

For technical assistance with SIS, contact the SIS Helpdesk Hotline at 3917 0123 or email ithelp@hku.hk. For questions about advisee assignments, contact your Faculty Academic Advising and First Year Experience Coordinator or Administrator.
