For undergraduate students

Staffed with professional academic advisers and experienced administrators, AASO advises students on university regulations, general university requirements, development of study plans, major minor selection, cross faculties learning opportunities and academic progress as well as scholarship applications. Working closely with student ambassadors (AASO friends), the Office organises various activities to connect students and build a supportive network for exchanging information on academic matters and sharing study tips which are especially helpful to new students for a smooth transition to the university. Aside from workshops and sharing sessions, website information and multi-media resources, we offer one-to-one advising consultations in person or via Zoom, email or phone.

For advisers and teachers

To support academic colleagues in delivering their advising role, AASO conducts briefing sessions, workshops, case sharing sessions as well as develops online tools & tips on major student advising issues. We regularly conduct survey to understand advisers’ needs and collect feedback. Colleagues are welcome to contact us if they have any questions or suggestions.
