Peer advising is a key component of HKU’s university-wide academic advising system. Student advisers provide valuable support to junior students by sharing their study experiences and offering advice on various aspects of university life.

To equip student advisers with essential advising skills and knowledge, a series of Faculty/School-based, interactive training workshops were conducted with support from the Faculty Academic Advising and First Year Experience (AA&FYE) Coordinators and the Counselling and Person Enrichment (CoPE) Section of CEDARS.

We look forward to seeing the advising culture flourish with these enthusiastic student advisers.
