With the insightful sharing by our guest speaker, Dr. Gary Harfitt, Principal of Good Hope School, former Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) and Faculty Academic Advising Coordinator of the Faculty of Education at HKU, the workshop “Advising “Chat and Share” – Bridging the Gap: from Secondary to Tertiary Education” deepened Academic Advisers’ understanding of students’ experiences and difficulties when transitioning from secondary education to university studies. It also provided a valuable chance for knowledge exchange and skills sharing among academic advisers.
